Position Summery

The Director of Sales & Marketing will lead firmwide efforts in project pipeline growth, business development, client acquisition, and market positioning. This role is ideal for a highly motivated self-starter who can think strategically, execute independently, and generate measurable business opportunities.

This individual will work directly with leadership to identify growth markets, attract qualified clients, strengthen builder/developer relationships, and elevate J.Cor Architecture as a premium brand in Arizona and beyond.

  • Review past and current financial performance to identify growth opportunities and revenue trends  

  • Develop annual sales and marketing budgets tied to ROI goals  

  • Define target client sectors based on successful J.Cor project experience, including:

    • Luxury custom residential

    • Production / semi-custom builders

  • Developer opportunities

  • Out-of-state builder relationships

  • High-net-worth homeowner markets

  • Build and manage outbound business development efforts:

  • Cold outreach campaigns

  • Schedule meetings, presentations, and relationship-building opportunities with qualified prospects

Marketing Strategy & Brand Positioning

  • Create and oversee integrated marketing strategy across:

    •   LinkedIn

    •   Website

    •   Email campaigns / drip funnels

    •   Instagram

    •   Facebook

  • Improve website conversion strategy and lead capture systems  

  • Coordinate project photography, testimonials, case studies, and brand storytelling  

  • Ensure all messaging aligns with J.Cor’s premium market positioning

Networking & Industry Presence

Identify and maximize high-value visibility opportunities including:

  • Builder shows, breakfasts, sponsorships, and golf tournaments  

  • Luxury publications and regional magazine placements  

  • Urban Land Institute councils and leadership groups  

  • Industry awards submissions  

  • Speaking engagements and panel opportunities  

  • Strategic referral partnerships

Systems & Reporting

  • Track leads, proposals, conversions, and ROI by channel  

  • Build repeatable CRM and follow-up systems  

  • Provide monthly reporting on pipeline growth, opportunities, and marketing performance  

  • Recommend improvements based on data

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, marketing, sales, or growth leadership  

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills  

  • Experience with proposals, presentations, and closing opportunities  

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, digital marketing funnels, and lead generation  

  • Highly organized, self-directed, and entrepreneurial mindset  

  • Bonus: experience in architecture, luxury real estate, construction, or design industries

  • Base salary: $95,000 – $120,000, depending on experience  

  • Performance bonuses tied to revenue growth and signed contracts
